Lough- Lulu Acker

Mrs. Lulu Acker Lough, 82, an active member of the Christian Church while her health permitted, died at her home here on Tuesday at 11:50 p.m. She had been in failing health for a year and suffered a stroke 3 weeks ago which lead to her death. Mrs. Lough was born in Parke County Aug 22, 1872, she was the daughter of Leonard E. and Cyrena Vandiver. On May 30, 1893, she married David Arthur LOUGH at Waveland. Surviving are the husband; a son, Parke of Waveland; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Wadell of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. JD Roseman of Indianapolis and Mrs. Frank Milligan of Houston, Texas and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Glenn who died in 1944. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Machledt Funeral Home with Rev. Grover DeNeal officiating. Burial will be made at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
